Your kind of stay
Udaipur has everything. This house is best at the slow version of it, a lawn with the lake over the wall and days with nothing booked into them.
The lawn, a hammock, a swing above the water, and nothing on the calendar.
What to ask about the connection, the desk and the noise before you book a month.

A tree house with a slide, a trampoline on the grass, and a games room indoors.

In winter the lawn gets a bonfire, and dinner is served outdoors in front of it.

Devendra Garh stands on Rani Road, on the Fatehsagar side of Udaipur, with a lawn that runs from the porch down to the boundary wall and the lake on the other side of it. The Aravallis close the view behind the water, and that is what the garden looks at all day and what the terrace looks at in the evening. Five rooms, lawns, a pool, and a small staff who look after all of it.

Rooms
Every room looks onto either the water or the lawns, and none of them is far from breakfast.

The house has hosted many surprise proposals on the grass between here and Fateh Sagar. Parties run on the same lawn, and from the middle of November so do the bonfire evenings.
In their words
We spent a weekend here and it is a peaceful place. Food is tasty and we enjoyed the dinner outdoors in front of the bonfire.
This was our first trip to Udaipur and selecting a stay was one difficult job. Selecting Devendra Garh was one of our best decision.
It's location is Amazing just opposite to fateh Sagar where you can watch sunset.
